Hey, I'm Erica!
Most days, you can find me sitting on the couch in my husband's pajama pants, drinking coffee, snuggling my kittens (Isaac + Pippin), and editing.
I am known for my play on natural light that evokes a sense of old film and rustic joy. I am at my happiest in the open air, during golden hour, photographing a lace-clad bride.
In life, people often refer to me as happy and kind. My greatest joy is to love on and encourage others.
I am most passionate about people. In our heart of hearts, we all want to be appreciated and taken care of and seen. I see you. I will take care of you. There have been many times when I have adjusted a veil, buttoned a gown, fixed a stray hair - I love to be these hands for you.
I photograph people who are totally into nature, simplicity, art, and rustic living. People who love the outdoors. People who love each other.
When I'm not behind a camera or in front of a computer, you can find me taking a spin class, binging on Netflix, buying all of the things at Hobby Lobby, traveling north (shout out to New England and Vermont), and drinking iced coffee from Dunkin' Donuts.
If you're dying to hear more, here are three things that you might not know about me:
Both of my parents were aspiring artists. I think their interest in art spurred my love for artistic photography.
I studied music in college, and sang with my choir at Carnegie Hall.
I've been to 12 countries outside of America: Canada, Bulgaria, Romania, Germany, France, Austria, Switzerland, Hungary, Ireland, England, Scotland, and Iceland (for one hour).
