There are wedding days that feel deeply personal and joy-filled from start to finish - and Alicia and Patric’s day was exactly that. When the Sweet Alice Studios team arrived at Hollow Brook Golf Club in Cortlandt Manor, NY, the sky was full of shifting clouds, creating a soft, moody backdrop that made every moment feel cinematic. The weather added a touch of drama in the best way, and the energy between Alicia and Patric kept everything bright. Everyone knew they were witnessing something truly special. From their heartfelt vows to late-night donuts and an unforgettable dance floor, their wedding was a beautiful celebration of love, laughter, and their one-of-a-kind story.
THE COUPLE
Some couples just radiate warmth the moment you meet them - and Alicia and Patric are exactly that kind of couple. From our very first consultation, it was clear how deep their connection runs. I’ll never forget when Patric smiled and said, “I’ve always thought of Alicia as my wife.” It was such a simple, beautiful sentiment, and it perfectly captures the energy they bring into every room: loving, grounded, and joyful.
Their story began years ago at a Dunkin’ Donuts, right after high school. They were coworkers, but somewhere between making lattes and closing shifts, love found its way in. From there, they grew together through college, through milestones, and then on, to their wedding day. Their journey is one of quiet dedication and constant joy, and it was an absolute honor to photograph this next chapter of their story.
THE VENUE
Hollow Brook Golf Club in Cortlandt Manor, NY was the perfect setting for Alicia and Patric’s wedding. With its lush greens and elegant, yet rustic and peaceful atmosphere, it felt like a scene straight out of a romantic film. It was one of those rare days that just feels like magic is in the air.
The ceremony took place outdoors, with beautiful views of the rolling course and distant hills, and then it was on to one of the best parties we’ve ever been able to photograph.
THE DETAILS
Alicia and Patric’s wedding palette was a dreamy combination of soft whites and varied shades of green - eucalyptus, sage, and hints of olive that paired beautifully with the natural surroundings of Hollow Brook. From the florals in Alicia’s bouquet to the delicate greenery on each reception table, the entire day felt effortlessly elegant and intimate.
One of my favorite details? The personalized nod to how they met: Dunkin’ coffee and donuts served as late-night snacks during the reception. It was such a fun and meaningful touch - guests loved it, and it felt so uniquely “them.” There was something really sweet (pun intended) about seeing loved ones sip coffee and enjoy a donut while dancing the night away.
They didn’t just plan a wedding - they built an experience that reflected who they are and where they’ve been.
THE RECEPTION
When I say Alicia and Patric know how to party, I mean it. Their reception was bursting with joy from the moment the music started. Friends and family packed the dance floor early and stayed there all night long. Every moment was filled with laughter, celebration, and deep connection.
As the night wore on, it became clear how loved Alicia and Patric are. Their energy is infectious - people are drawn to their kindness, their humor, and the way they light each other up.
