THE COUPLE
Amy and Dave are warm, thoughtful, and deeply connected. Even with a rainy forecast looming, Dave’s excitement to marry Amy never faded - his love and joy were visible in every glance, every gesture. There was such a beautiful calm between them; their focus never strayed from what the day was truly about: being together and starting their life as husband and wife.
They moved through the day with grace and intention, and it was such a joy to see their love captured in every frame.
THE VENUE
They held their ceremony in a quiet, charming church nestled in Millbrook. It was peaceful and inviting, with the soft sound of rain on the windows adding an almost sacred stillness to the exchange of vows.
Their reception took place at Garvan’s, a small reception venue that offers a warm and welcoming setting for intimate gatherings. Garvan’s is a favorite for smaller Hudson Valley weddings - it’s cozy and filled with character. The rain outside only added to the atmosphere inside, creating the perfect setting for an evening filled with laughter, connection, and love.
THE DETAILS
Amy looked stunning in a classic white gown - timeless, elegant, and full of grace. Dave wore a gray suit that felt soft and stylish, complementing both the setting and their subtle color palette.
The floral and design details brought the day to life with soft greens, yellows, blush pinks, and bright pops of white - including cheerful sunflowers that added a lovely, sunny energy to the moody weather. From the bouquets to the table decor at Garvan’s, every detail felt thoughtful, fresh, and full of personality.
Debbie captured it all so beautifully - the textures, the colors, the little moments between Amy and Dave that brought it all together.
THE RECEPTION
Their reception was heartfelt and easygoing, a true reflection of their relationship. With only their closest loved ones gathered, the evening felt deeply personal. Amy and Dave were present, joyful, and clearly soaking up every second.
Debbie was able to sneak in some beautiful portraits during the quieter moments of the afternoon - a few romantic shots under umbrellas outside, and others in the warm nooks and corners of Garvan’s. The soft rain, the glowing light, and the calm between the two of them made for an incredibly touching collection of photos to tell their story.
