There's something special about getting married at a place that already means something to you. Kim and Matt tied the knot at The Country Club at Otterkill in Campbell Hall - a venue they have real history with. That kind of connection made everything feel more grounded, more them.
THE COUPLE
Kim and Matt met at the gym, which feels fitting because Kim is a firecracker - energetic, fun, the kind of person who lights up a room. Matt balances that energy perfectly. Together they're solid, and you can see it in how they are with their families. Kim is especially close with her parents, her brother, and her sister-in-law, and those relationships were woven throughout the entire day.
One of my favorite moments was during cocktail hour when Kim gathered her mom, all of her friends, and all of their moms for a photo. Two generations of friendship in one frame - what a gift.
THE VENUE
The day began with a church ceremony before everyone headed to the venue. The club sits on beautiful grounds with lush greenery everywhere and a stunning willow tree that we made sure to use for photos. Spring was doing its thing - everything green and alive and perfect for the vibe Kim wanted. Inside, the reception room has this beautiful, clean vibe that made everything feel bright and airy.
THE DETAILS
Kim had a clear vision from the start: baby blue as the main color, with light, airy, fresh springtime vibes. She wanted muted pastel colors in the flowers and to let spring itself do some of the decorating. The result was exactly that - soft, beautiful, seasonally perfect.
The wedding party wore baby blue and black, which looked gorgeous against all of the greenery. Kim wore a white lace gown and Matt wore a black suit. White florals kept everything feeling classic and romantic.
THE RECEPTION
The reception had everything. The toasts were genuinely heartfelt - the kind that make you laugh and tear up in equal measure. Then the dancing started and it was just pure fun. You could feel how much joy there was in that room, how much these families love Kim and Matt.
Kim's energy carried through the whole night. When someone brings that much life to their own wedding, everyone else can't help but match it.
Congratulations, Kim and Matt. Getting to capture a day at a place that means something to you, surrounded by the people who've known you forever, was a privilege.
